Frequently asked questions
Is this an official government IDP?
No, and we never claim otherwise. We issue a UN 1949/1968-Convention-formatted translation document recognised by participating countries. The format itself is standardised by treaty — what matters is whether the issuing country's authority is on-file with the receiving country.
How fast is delivery?
Digital permits reach your inbox within 15 minutes of payment via Cloudflare's global edge network. Physical wallet cards ship within 24 hours and reach Asia in 5–7 business days.
Will my permit be accepted at car rental counters?
We've designed the document to the UN Convention format that all participating rental agencies recognise. Carry it together with your national licence — never as a stand-alone document.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes — full refund if your permit is rejected at the border with documented evidence (police/customs/agency note). See our refund policy.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Card (Visa/Mastercard/Amex) globally; PromptPay for Thailand, GCash for the Philippines, and other local rails through Stripe + Xendit. Choose your country at checkout to see your local options.
Why is the price lower if I'm in Asia?
PPP-adjusted display — our base prices are USD but Asian buyers see the equivalent at a 30% local discount. The charge happens in your local currency through Stripe in the country your card is billed to.
Can I rent a car with just the digital PDF?
Yes — every major international rental chain (Hertz, Avis, Sixt, Budget) accepts a digital UN-Convention permit shown on your phone, paired with your physical national licence. Some smaller local agencies prefer the wallet card.
What if I lose my permit booklet?
Standard tier and above includes free unlimited replacements. Email support with your order number and we'll re-issue same day.
